The ATL is represented by BSG (Battle Squad Guerillas) Silva Da Don, Kaperz, D.A.N., Cold Finga and more. Pennsylvania SKN and Dr. Brix represents for PA. Indianapolis is represented by Loc 300, Dirty Boy, Big Jay, and Rufus. Last but not least Boone Pratt represents for Alaska with his smash single The Evolution (http://youtu.be/ZpLbPzLeH1Y). The Loud Sessions Vol. 2 a great platform to expose fans to new music and artists. This mixtape series also provides feedback for artist as it is critiqued by Hip Hop lead.

Upon listening to the tape Jody Mack kicks off the tape with that bump in the trunk feel to it with the dirty south sounding “Space Walkin”. BGS and Kaperz keep a similar sound with “Know Bout Us”, but just when you think it’s all heavy high hats and 808’s Dr. Brix delivers a nostalgic sounding “I Hate Captain”. That record has NY summer of 94 written all over it. The change of pace was refreshing. This compilation continues to deliver different sounds from around the globe including the epic, “The Evolution”, performed by Alaskan wordsmith, Boone Pratt.

Boone confidently spits “I walk around my whole empire/ Sire is what you call me now my microphone is on fire”. Loc 300 shows to be the orchestrator of the project by contributing the intro and skits, but he also steps in the booth on the mixtape stand out “Whatcha Know About That”. Now that’s how you take the bull by the horns!
It’s good to hear unity in Hip Hop. This mixtape is from the depths of the underground and features artists from all over the place. No matter where they are from, how they were raised, which hood or middle class neighborhood they reside in…they have one thing in common and that’s Hip Hop. ND Music is going out of their way to make a name them for themselves and those involved and there is only one way to play Volume 2.. and that’s LOUD! Download this below.
