We chopped it up with the homie Corey Black a while back and it was a good talk .. now we had a chance to catch up with him and label mate, Bullet Brak, and this is how it went …
HipHopLEAD: All this crazy world news going on since the new year… what do you guys make of it?
I.C Ent: Read Revelations..
HipHopLEAD: Not to get too off course, but being you are Maryland residents, what did you think when you found out that millions of dead fish washed up right in your backyard?
I.C Ent: It made us more aware of the environmental problems in are own surroundings.
HipHopLEAD: Lets get off all the crazy world occurences and talk about something more suiting …… what is planned next for IC Entertainment in 2011?
I.C Ent: We’re Starting off the spring with a release called “Geeka Rap” starring Bullet Brak & Corey Black. This release will set the tempo for the rest of our summer. But best believe we have hits on deck.
HipHopLEAD: Just to clarify are you guys a rapping duo or just label mates?
I.C Ent: Corey Black and Bullet Brak are solo artists on the same label, “IC Entertainment”.
HipHopLEAD: When we spoke to Corey last he was telling us about his production game and stepping up and being an emcee … now being its a new year .. which task do you do more?
Corey: I focus on both the same pretty much. I just make the beats so fast that it seems I do more production.
HipHopLEAD: Bullet .. do you have any production or engineering credits since graduating from New York’s I.A.R.?
Bullet: I have engineered tracks for D king, Trina, Snoop Dogg, Dub G, Freck Billionaire, Corey Black, Myself, Cub Dolla$, Kojo Hotflow, Da Circle, C.M.W., Big Ox, 3 Star and many more. Big S/O to I.A.R. !
HipHopLEAD: What songs you have two done to date that seperate you from the norm? and why?
Bullet: “Peace From Greece” prod by Gusto (Gus the Greek), off my mixtape “Lost In The Mix”, this song has been getting heavy spins in Greece where my roots are from. Worldwide exposure is key!!

HipHopLEAD: How do you think you can bring Maryland the much needed shine it deserves in the hiphop game?
I.C Ent: There are alot of talented artist in the Maryland / DMV area. Yes, it would be nice to open the door for all our other comrads, but currently IC Entertaiment is soley backing Bullet Brak and Corey Black. We wish the best success to everyone. It is better to unite then to divide.
HipHopLEAD: How are you guys planning on making IC entertainment a household name?
I.C Ent: Gorilla promotion tactics, PLANNED and properly executed campaigning, and making GOOD MUSIC.
HipHopLEAD: What releases are top priorities for IC Entertainment?
I.C Ent: 1. Is “Geeka Rap” in the spring then 2. is “Hello 2 my Haterz” following up in the summer. This will set the standard as far as production, engineering, and branding our sound.
HipHopLEAD: Who exactly is on the label ?
I.C Ent : Bullet Brak and Corey Black are the featured artists. We are currently are working with a few new artists while still searching for talent.
HipHopLEAD: Who started the label?
I.C Ent: Matthew Brock started the IC Entertaintment LLC, with the help of family and well trusted friend Danny Bryan in 2009.
HipHopLEAD: What are some of the features you have planned for those future projects?
I.C Ent: Well we can’t announce any features yet because we work with so many artists so its difficult to say which features will work out.
HipHopLEAD: What are the concepts on there?
I.C Ent: The concepts are from all walks of life. We did alot of traveling during the past year, so it gave us room to reach more people and broaden our music at the same time.
HipHopLEAD: Who were your influences to get into music?
I.C Ent : We were influenced by all the bad artist stories of record label mishaps. Which made us take our careers in our own hands.
HipHopLEAD: How would you describe your styles of hip-hop?
Bullet : I would describe my style of hiphop more underground lyricist than anything. Yet still being original and creative.
Corey : My style of hiphop is more agressive street music. But I also have the ability to write all types of music.

I.C Ent: Everybody is real in there own way so who are we to judge.
