Khaki Blue – Its The West All Stars Review

Wow … the West is back. Not too sure if you heard of an up and coming rapper named “Khaki Blue“.

Buuuuuuuuuuuttttt if you havent once you hear “Khaki Blue presents Its The West All Stars” you might become quite familiar. Not to mention it’s hosted by Tha Advocate. Songs like “Gun Runner” show that rough, rugged, and raw side of Khaki Blue. It’s not just your typical gun “busting” song.

Alot of tricky wordplay and in your face lyrics spark anyones shock value. Songs like “My Town” (featuring the asian emcee, LUZ) shows the Cali Born, Khaki, and the New York resident, Luz ..going back and forth with a classic east meets west, fish out of water experience. The stand out track has to be “Grind all the time”.

In this song Khaki and friends make an ode to the everyday hustle. Whether legal or illegal you have to relate to this one. Another standout record is “The N.E.W. Part 6” where Tha Advocate featured Khaki Blue along with alot of other emcees from all over the country.

Khaki spits his g with “I’m high as the moon sitting in the fuckin sky/ Hammerhead smoking blunts until a nigga die”!! Real talk! “Its The West All Stars”, has tons of diversity and will make a good selection for any hiphop head. Songs like “Fresh”, “Raise Taxes” and “Get Up On Ya Feet” further solidify the deal.
