Basic Instinct is the upcoming fourth studio album by American R&B singer Ciara.

It was originally due for release on August 17, 2010, but after being pushed ahead a week, now has no set release date, its expected to hit stores later this year (Probably October 5, 2010)..

The album was preceded by the release of the Ludacris assisted lead single “Ride It“, which was released as a digital download in from April 26, 2010.
