Today we are kicking it with a new up and coming rapper named Tee-Bone.

HipHopLEAD: For starts where did the name come from?

T-Bone: I got my name off of the movie color’s cuz I hung around Ese’s alot in my younger days.

HipHopLEAD: For those that don’t where are you reppin?

T-Bone: I rep around my city Watts… and other spots.. in clubs..etc.

HipHopLEAD: You have been making a mark on the internet lately. Digital Dynasty … Unsigned On The Grind .. and a new mixtape, hosted by Ballerstatus.com’s – Tha Advocate. What can the fans expect from your mixtape?

T-Bone: I want my fans to expect I’m out here tryna make it… life is hard enough….

HipHopLEAD: How do you feel about the Newer rap artists from Cali saying the OG’s aren’t helping them?

T-Bone: These new up coming rapper’s can say wat they say… the o.g’s got it hard just like us in a way.

HipHopLEAD: Who were your West Coast inspirations to make you rap?

T-Bone: My favorite inpirations for West rappers was Pac he made me wanna do it!!

HipHopLEAD: Who were your favorite East coast rappers?

T-Bone: East cost rappers… have to be ..Epmd… east coast was killin the game back then.

HipHopLEAD: Back to you …What made you pick up a mic and get busy?

T-Bone: I picked up a mic cuz I was tired of the law playin wit my life.

HipHopLEAD: Are you on a label?

T-Bone: When I got out of jail I got with my boys and they got a lil thang called Krazyfresh Ent. but Ima go my own way for the next mixtape.

HipHopLEAD: Any new projects coming out? Any features?

T-Bone: My new mixtape coming out called “STILL WIT IT” and once I do my little jail time you kno how the hood be.

HipHopLEAD: How would you describe your style of hip-hop?

T-Bone: I describe my style of hiphop as the only thang we got left in life. Its whats we was born to do ,, ya know? Its HUNGER!

HipHopLEAD: What’s your goal for the hip-hop game?

T-Bone: My goal is to be on tv one day from my music.

HipHopLEAD: Can a West Coast rapper make it without talking about gang life?

T-Bone: I dont talk about it. People can make it without talkin about the gang life…. to me its what you have inside .. you know?

T-Bone: I won’t do a song to compromise my talent for alot of money… cuz I’m in it to show other people that there is more then just gang bangin out there.

HipHopLEAD: What is a typical day like for TeeBone?

T-Bone: A typical day for Tbone is in the studio drinkin moet & chillin with the ladies…ya know? That’s what I do.

T-Bone: 1 song that will have the hiphoplead viewers hooked ..hmm.. I would say “Step Up” and “Smoke and Drink”. That be knocking!! (laughs)
