On March 12,Wiz Khalifa announced his current branding partnership. The Rostrum/Atlantic Records star broadcasted a deal with shoe and athletic company Converse. From a tweet, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native who has made appearances in campaigns, has now made it to something “major” with the storied brand. Wiz hasn’t released information about the deal yet.
Throughout his career, Khalifa has been seen and is known to wear and endorse Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes, one of the inspirations to the name of his label and collective, the Taylor Gang.
Previously, Kid Cudi and Big Boi have worked with Converse. The brand also keeps up its Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, New York, which has been used by artists from GZA to Action Bronson to MaG. The big news comes less than a month after Wiz and Amber Rose welcomed their first child to the world, son Sebastian.
