Waka Flocka Surrenders, Facing Jail
Waka Flocka turned himself over to authorities Yesterday (January 3rd, 2011) on a variety of drug, gun, and gang-related charges stemming from a police raid of his home in December 16th, while he wasn’t home.
He is booked on charges including possession of marijuana, a firearm by a convicted felon, hydrocodone, and a firearm during the commission of a felony; violation of probation for driving on a suspended license and violating Georgia’s “Criminal Street Gang and Terror Prevention Act”.
According to TMZ, Waka Flocka’s mother Debra Antney explained, Waka surrendered on his own this afternoon “because he wanted to do the right thing and didn’t want to run”.
He’s currently being held on $31,950 bond, with a hearing set for today, December 4th..
His partner Gucci Mane is also headed to jail after he was arrested while in Waka Flocka’s house during the raid.

i hope he still gets to do music if he does go to jail but i mean he had a gun to me it’s like so what cuz i dnt blame him pple is crazy dese days but the drug part i have no comment on that but he just needs to stop gettin involved in so much violence but hopefully he doesn’tt have to go

These guys are retarded!!! What is hip-hop coming to? Is it s trend now for people to serve jail time?!?! From Lil Wayne to T.I. (TWICE) to now Gucci AND Wacka Flocka. This game really needs to change. The whole “gangsta rap” needs to fold because all we’re doing and showing that it’s honorable to go to jail. I’m a teenager and I think these are stupid.
” He turned himself in because he wanted to do the right thing…” If he was doing the right thing from the beginning he wouldnt have been pretty much inviting the cops to bust in on him giving them a reason for search warrants, If your on Probation why would you flaunt smoking weed and doing other drugs plus carrying a gun and Gucci to be a part of it too wow so much for your record label Gucci 4 million dollars your worth dont go that far soon to be forgotten in hiphop but number One in Prison.
