Unfortunately T.I. might be locked up again as lawyers go back and forth for his upcoming hearing after violating his parole in September.
Last month T.I. and his wife Tiny were arrested in L.A for possession of a controlled substance, in West Hollywood and found in possession of ecstasy.
Things get bad, not only did T.I. fail a drug test, but he was also traveling with a convicted felon named Cortez “C-Rod” Thomas.
All infractions are violations of the terms of T.I.’s three-year probation.
T.I. just came home from prison in December after serving 12-month sentence for attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers in October of 2007.
In an interview last month, U.S. Attorney Sally Yates told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
“We are very disappointed in Mr. Harris’ recent conduct, we will make our sentencing recommendation at the revocation hearing.”
The officier in charge of T.I.’s probation seeks HE (T.I.) serves eight to 14 months, though T.I.’s lawyers claim the guidelines call for no more than five to 11 months.
The final hearing and charge will be determined on Friday, October 15.
UPDATE: This means T.I.’s wife Tiny goes free. An MediaTakeOut insider explains:
“TI wants to be certain that she will remain free to raise their children. That’s his number one priority. Over his career, and even over his freedom.”
