Looks like battle rap is offically breaking into the mainstream in 2014. The Eminem and Shady Records sponsored Total Slaughter reality show and event was a success. Now, Snoop Dogg is dropping clues that BET could be trying it’s hand in the battle rap world.
Via Instagram, Snoop posted two clips claiming he has “something special” planned for this year’s BET Hip Hop Awards. He will return as host for the annual event and says he is working with battle rap star Murda Mook for the showcase..
