Rihanna’s “S&M” Video Banned In 11 Countries

Rihanna‘s video for “S&M” has been banned from broadcasting in 11 countries, according to reports.

According to NME.com, the recently released video – which features simulated sex with a blow-up doll and Rihanna leading popular gossip blogger Perez Hilton around on a dog leash – has been banned in 11 different countries. In addition, the UK’s BBC Radio 1 refuses to play the song before 7 PM due to its explicit lyrical content.

Even YouTube has flagged the video as “inappropriate” and requires viewers to verify they are over the age of 18 before they can view it and MTV was at point believed to be looking into editing the video for broadcast; however MTV have since confirmed that they have approved the clip to run as is.
