Rick Ross, who has been known to rap about guns in his music was recently asked in an interview with Huffington Post what he thinks about the right to bear arms in the U.S.
“I support the right to bear arms,” Ross says in an interview with Huffington Post. “I do. I’m a licensed carrier. But, when I go into public places, when I go out and I enter certain places, I believe it’s best to leave your firearm in your vehicle.”
Also during the interview, Ross spoke about the respect he has for women .
“I’m surrounded by powerful women at all times,” Ross says. “That’s the majority of my team. It’s made up of women.”
Last year, Ross came under fire when he rapped about putting molly in a woman’s glass without her knowing.
At the time of the molly backlash, Ross responded, “I want to make sure this is clear, woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn’t used. I would never use the word rape in my records.”
