Reports from TMZ state that Jessica White is suing the R&B singer for portraying her as “an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child … so that she could fraudulently milk him of ‘ungodly amounts of money.'”
In 2005, White gave birth to a child, and asserted that Ne-Yo was the father. Nevertheless, a paternity test cleared the singer of her claims.
White claims that it wasn’t her intention to try and defraud the singer, and that Ne-Yo’s remarks on the VH1 program “Behind the Music” has led her to being addressed by offensive names, and that her career as a photographer and graphic designer has been damaged do to it.
White is suing the singer for unspecified damages.
Last year, Ne-Yo left Def Jam and inked a deal with Motown Records as an artist and Senior VP of A&R.
