Ne-Yo, who recently revealed he regreted given Beyoncé the song (hit) “Irreplaceable”, had to defend himself from Beyoncé’s fans, angry because of his offensive statements regarding Beyoncé Giselle Knowles.
He, originally wrote the song “Irreplaceable” with the intention of singing it himself, but after he had passed it over to the former Destiny’s Child, he repented.
Why was Beyonce’s fans mad? The tone a bit mocking adopted during an interview given to Choice FM and the fact that he had hinted that “Irreplaceable” would have seemed too wicked and misogynist in his version, but perfectly normal in the female one.
Ne-Yo rejects the charge and, on twitter, and urges everyone to listen to his words and realize that there is no form of contempt for Beyoncé.
“You know what? I’m sick of justifying myself with perfect idiots. Beyoncé is a friend of mine. To hell with those who are not smart enough to understand what I meant!” said Ne-Yo.
A friend in need is a friend indeed…we will see!
