Moving On Without Diddy & Bad Boy Records, Danity Kane To Reunite

Danity Kane

Diddy may have been key  in Making The Band, but the band—Danity Kane—now says that they can do it without him. The group created in 2005’s third season of Diddy’s hit MTV series has been on M.I.A. since 2009. Four years into the group, the collective of Aubrey O’Day, D. Woods, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richards and Aundrea Fimbres split—six months after O’Day and Woods had already left the group. Reports place blame on their mentor who separated the girls, and terminated the group. Richards would later resurface with Diddy-Dirty Money, for 2010’s Last Train To Paris album.

TMZ is reporting that the former #1 top selling act is highly considering a reunion. Four founding members met without D. Woods and a new manager, caught on camera. In spite of dropping their only two albums on Diddy’s Bad Boy Worldwide imprint, the foursome is apparently not out to include their former mentor. “Who’s that?” said the group, when asked by videographers on Puffy’s involvement.
