Lil Wayne has earned his 100th entry on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Song Chart, with French Montana’s single “Pop That,” which features himself as well as Rick Ross and Drake.
“Pop That” landed at No. 57 on the chart, making Lil Wayne the second rapper to achieve this feat. He comes up behind Jay-Z who has 108 chart singles to his name.
Lil Wayne first made his entrance onto the Billboard charts when he was just 16, with an appearance on Juvenile’s “Back That Thing Up,” on May 31st 1999. The song peaked at No. 6, making it Weezy’s first of 29 top 10s.
Lil Wayne’s tied with Ludacris for most top 10s in the charts among rappers.
