“Black Skinhead”, a track on the Kanye West album Yeezus which was reportedly posted on the official Website for rapper Kanye West for a short period of time. The video has now been removed and according to West, the video was never meant to show just yet and it was not approved.
The G.O.O.D. Music emcee confirmed the video was a leak. He posted several status updates to his Twitter account earlier today (July 9). He eventually stated that the video was an unfinished version. Also, he and photographer Nick Knight address the leak as “heartbreaking” to those in the creative world.
“Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens.”- @kanyewst
West went on to request that anyone that may have posted the incomplete “Black Skinhead” video to remove it.
“So any website that may have the unapproved / unfinished ruff. I ask you to please take it down.”-@kanyewest
West ended his tweet addressing the person responsible and he wasn’t happy.
“And to who ever leaked the video… FUK YOU!”-@kanyewest
Mr. West state that the official “Black Skinhead” music video will be out sometime during the next week.
