Meek Mill has requested that a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania judge to slaken his travel restrictions so he doesn’t have as difficult of a time touring.

According to NBC 10 Philadelphia, attorneys for the rapper filed an appeal last Wednesday for a Philadelphia judge to lift any ban on travel so he can have an easier time touring. Defense attorney Dennis Cogan says that Mill’s earning power is restricted by the ban.

But the 25-year-old artist may suffer some misfortune. Assistant District Attorney Noel DeSantis told The Philadelphia Inquirer that she will contest the request, stating that he was already given a break in serving only eight months of an 11- to 23-month sentence for being found guilty of assault, gun possession and drug charges.

“I’m out here doing good. Until I start doing bad, that’s when I think it should be a problem,” said Mill in an interview with NBC.
