For a decade, fans have known the trap rap superstar as Young Jeezy. He’s kept the “Young” title, even tough the Atlanta rapper is in his mid-30s now. In a recent interview, Jeezy has made it clear that he will no longer sport the “Young” on his stage name.
“Oh, no, no, no, it’s Jeezy now,” Jeezy said when the interview referred to him as “Young Jeezy.”
“I’m grown now. I did enough of that,” he explained. “It sounds good because when I came into the game, that’s what I was and that was my state of mind. But I’m a grown man now. Jeezy. It’s all good. We got a little older now.”
