Jay-Z has confirmed the signing of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s 9-year-old daughter (to be 10 in october) Willow Smith, who’s first single release “Whip My Hair” has been heavily buzzing on the internet.
Jay-Z announced it on the Ryan Seacrest’s show this morning.

It’s rare to find an artist with such innate talent and creativity at such a young age. Willow Smith has already had roles in Hollywood films like “I Am Legend” and “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa“, with his father Will Smith and she is fully supported by her parents on her music Career aswell.

According to Jay-Z, Willow’s advanced beyond her years and has a vision for her career in the music industry, despite only being nine. He noted that superstars like Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder started their careers off young.
