Fight & Shots Between Young Jeezy & Gucci Mane's Crews  | read this item

In december 2009, Three of Atlanta’s biggest hip-hop stars got on the radio on a Thursday night and squashed their beefs and friction. Young Jeezy laid any problems he had with DJ Drama and Gucci Mane to rest.

While they (Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane) supposedly ended their long standing beef, their crews did not, they violently collided in ATL, a Thursday afternoon (March 4) and shots were fired.

Sources reports 8 people were shot.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the incident took place inside Walter’s Clothing in downtown Atlanta around 4 p.m. after members of Gucci’s 1017 Brick Squad spotted Jeezy’s associates.

Once they saw each other, they immediately began fighting, a witness tells the paper.

“They just started going at it,” said Patrick Morrison, a Walter’s employee.

When police arrived, the security guard — who is employed by local rapper Waka Flocka Flame — was detained.

Waka Flocka Flame is a member of Gucci’s crew, and according to Morrison, he caught a couple punches during the altercation. “Whoever he is he’s got a big swollen eye now,” Morrison said.

Gucci is currently serving time at the Fulton County jail for a probation violation. He is set to be released in May.

Neither Gucci Mane or Young Jeezy were directly involved in the brawl.
