Drake Loses Grandma on Thanksgiving

While many of us were enjoying food and family yesterday, YMCMB artist Drake was giving. Drizzy lost his grandmother Evelyn Sher, on Thanksgiving Day. He tweeted the news yesterday:

Rest in peace to my grandmother Evelyn Sher. What a day to go…thankful to have had the times we did.

Ms. Sher was Drake’s maternal grandmother, and he mentioned her on his debut album, Thank Me Later, on “The Resistance”. She made a cameo in a deleted scene on his 2010 documentary, Drake: Better Than Good Enough, where she was visited by Drake in her nursing home.
