DJ Khaled: Starts A New Label “We The Best Music” Under Def Jam Records..
Miami\’s DJ, DJ Khaled has entered into an exclusive partnership with his new label We The Best and Def Jam Records, L.A. Reid, Island Def Jam’s chairman, announced today.
In past years, DJ Khaled has become a household name after collaborating with artists ranging from Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne to Rick Ross and Kanye West. He is also an official member of Terror Squad.
“I’m proud to be a member of the Def Jam family,” Khaled said. “Def Jam has been and still is one of the most important institutions in hip hop and music as a whole. I am extremely honored and excited to be a partner with them in We The Best Music. I look forward to creating great music and continuing the success. L.A., Shakir and Lenny S are you ready? I am! Let\’s go! Cash Flow!”
Khaled’s first project under We The Best Music will be the rapper Ace.
