Chris Brown’s legal problems appear to continue as the R&B singer may in fact face battery charges which occurred from a parking lot fight with fellow singer Frank Ocean, which took place earlier this year. According to XXLMag, Brown will head to court (June 10) for a probation hearing, but it’s the judge’s choice to decide whether or not the January incident will be discussed.
Ironically, in early February, Ocean broadcasted in a Tumblr post that he would not press charges against Brown.
“I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit. Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace,” Ocean revealed.
It’s uncertain what legal repercussions Brown could be facing if battery charges are filed. Unfortunately, for the Virginia singer, today’s hearing comes just weeks after he was tied to a hit and run accident that’s currently being investigated.
