Beyoncé & Michelle Obama Against Childhood Obesity

Beyoncé wants to inspire young Americans to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

The singer has joined an initiative of the American first lady, Michelle Obama plans to fight the scourge of obesity among the young. To do this, the artist has dusted off one of her songs, “Got Me Bodied” for 2006 and with the help of Swizz Beatz, has produced a new version titled “Move your body“.

In the song, Beyonce encourages boys and girls to do exercise, to be transported by the music, jumping and dancing, making it impossible to remain victims of obesity.
The initiative is part of the campaign sought by the first lady, entitled “Let’s move”, and it hopes to help the youngsters to take better eating habits, revealing that a healthier lifestyle can prevent the risk of obesity.

On 3 May, Beyonce will perform with just that song and its choreography, along with a group of students chosen by the National Middle School Association.

“I am honored to be part of this initiative. Making a difference in the lives of children is commendable and we thank our First Lady, Michelle Obama and the NAB Education Foundation” for this effort.
