After news that Beyoncé’s self-directed documentary would be airing at the top of next year on HBO, the singer has revealed yet another big piece of news. XclusivesZone reports that the Houston native has just signed a deal with Pepsi worth $50 million.
While deals between big-name brands and artists don’t go beyond the ads and commercials realm too often, Pepsi’s deal with Beyoncé will also include a multi-million dollar fund that will support the singer and any of her creative projects.
“Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
As part of the multi-million deal, Beyoncé will appear on a special limited-edition Pepsi can and will also be seen in a Pepsi commercial that will air during the Super Bowl on February 3, 2013.
Briefly after the debut of Beyoncé’s Pepsi commercial, HBO will air the Houston singer’s self-directed documentary on February 16.
