Alicia Keys will pay tribute to her multi-platinum debut album “Songs In A minor”, with a 10th Anniversary and Collector’s edition.
Alicia Keys has announced that it will hold a special concert on June 13th at the “Royal Albert Hall” in London. The singer will perform alone, accompanied only by her piano, in a unique event entitled “Piano & I: a one-night only event with Alicia Keys” to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the release of her debut album, “Songs in A Minor “.
“It ‘s amazing that now is the tenth anniversary and I want to celebrate it. London has been good to me and I want to show my gratitude, ” said the artist.
She in late June will publish a deluxe edition of “Songs In A lower” with 10 original songs from the time of that album. The singer is currently in Los Angeles to work on the new disc, but is also directing her first short movie as part of a project promoted by actress Jennifer Aniston.
The thirty-minute long movie, deals with the issue of breast cancer and is directed by five different women. On June 15th, then, Alicia Keys will be another special evening, this time dedicated to its foundation “Keep a Child Alive, “with a event called “Black Ball UK”.
